Situated in the centre of Mensano, west of Siena, a hamlet with Etruscan origins and at 500 metres above sea level. Summer finds various cultural activities, including musical concerts in the superb Romanesque church, dances and a traditional donkey race. Casa Borgianni, is an antique stone built house, which has kept in time all the fascination of its history, form the floor tiles, furniture and architecture, and offers guests a welcoming atmosphere and a open air terrace for "al fresco" dining, or just admiring the view.
At a few paces, an intimate restaurant offering Italian and local dished at very reasonable prices. The main centre of interest are with easy reach, Siena, Volterra and San Gimignano at 30 Kms, Florence at 60 Kms and Pisa at 90 Kms.
