Just outside the kitchen guests have at their disposal a furnished area with table, chairs and barbecue for eating “al fresco”.
Part of the villa is not available for rental and is used by the owners, who live in Florence, on Saturdays for the check in & cheque out of their guests and for the necessary maintenance both of the park and the pool.
The nearby small village of Campiglia is situated at less than 1.000 meters from the property and therefore easily reachable on foot; here guests can find a good restaurant & pizzeria, two bars and a small supermarket. The town of Colle Val d’Elsa offering all kinds of facilities (supermarkets, banks, various shops, tennis courts, golf club, etc.) is at 4 km.
Thanks to its centrality and good road connections (the Florence-Siena dual carriage-way runs at just 7 km from the property) this place is an excellent starting point for daily trips to the main cultural sites of Tuscany: San Gimignano 10 km, Siena 20 km, Volterra 23 km, Florence 45 km, Cecina (beaches) 70 km, Arezzo 80 km, Pisa 90 km, Lucca 100 km.
