Situated in a wonderful position just outside the walls of Vertine, a small mediaeval village, La Capanna Incantata is an ancient barn belonging to the nearby fortified house where the owners live for part of the year. This enchanting little stone house has been recently renovated and transformed into a very original holiday house, ideal both for honeymoon couples and couples with children.
The interiors are cosy and tasteful with typical Tuscan furnishings, whilst externally the property is surrounded by a beautiful, panoramic garden with an inviting 8x16 m. swimming pool occasionally shared by the owner with the utmost discretion. Furthermore guests have at their disposal a shady pergola for meals “al fresco”, and a sunny terrace for total relaxing.
In the characteristic village of Vertine there is a snack bar where guests can enjoy a drink or a light lunch,
whilst the small town of Gaiole in Chianti is at just 2 km and offers all essential services.
Thanks to its central position in the Chianti Classico area, La Capanna Incantata is a very good starting point for visiting the most famous Tuscan art centres such as Radda in Chianti at 5 km, Siena 30 km, San Gimignano km 50, Arezzo km 55, Florence km 60, Pisa km 140 km.
