At a few hundred metres from the medieval hamlet of Montecastelli Pisano, in one of the areas in Tuscany still untouched by mass tourism, the granary of this farm, where the owners live, has been recently restored and transformed into three comfortable apartments.
In the large park sorrounding the house is an inviting swimming pool for share use.
All apartments have been furnished in a simple and comfortable country style, each with fully equipped kitchen and own furnished outdoor area.
Large groups seeking for more privacy may also rent "San Nico" as a single unit.
Approx. 50 meters away is the farm house, with own access and outdoor area, where the owners of the property live.
In the farm house there is an extra two bedroom apartment which is also for rental.
No shops are at present available in the village, the nearest essential services (restaurants, bar, grocery shop, post office) can be found in San Dalmazio (6 km), whilst the larger towns of Pomarance and Castelnuovo Val di Cecina (13 km) offer all kinds of services.
Some other distances: Volterra 35 km, Massa Marittima 40 km, Siena 45 km, Florence 75 km, Pisa 88 km, whilst the beaches of the Tuscan coast are some 50 – 60 km away.
