Placed in the uncontaminated nature of the senese countryside, surrounded by lands of ancient traditions and cultural centres of the medieval history of Siena, the farmhouse "La Morra" offers to its guests the best familiar welcome, to guarantee a really pleasant and unforgettable staying!
Here you will have the possibility to make excursions along trekking runs by horse or mountain bike. They are set in the hilly zone of the Montagnola senese, in the middle of an evergreen environment, always rich of plants and essences and also of naturalistic and archaeological motives.
The farmhouse constitutes the ideal point to depart and discover the charm of the ancient cities of art in Tuscany, such as Siena (20 km), San Gimignano (35 km), Volterra (40 km), Florence (70 km), Pisa (120 km), as well as the inviting beaches of the Tuscan cost (70-80 km).
The nearby small town of Sovicille, offering all essential services like food shops, restaurants, banks, post office, tennis, horse riding, etc., is approx. 6 km away.
From the inner court of the farmhouse you will approach the great bright living-room, meeting point for the guests and centre of the building.
The property, recently restored, has independent and well separated apartments, each one with its own access, ample kitchen, dewed with every comfort, a bathroom with a shower or a bathtub and a TV.
It is possible to have dinners or lunches in groups in the wide living-room at the ground floor. Although all apartments are provided with own kitchen, Mrs. Antonietta (the owner) is always available to prepare on request delicious and convenient meals for her guests.
At guests’ disposal there is a large, semi-elevated swimming pool surrounded by a natural environment, provided with chairs and slackers around for the solarium.
